miniBIOTA 2 Development Restarts
Progress with building miniBIOTA 2 begins again. It has been almost a year and a half now since miniBIOTA 2 first was established at Meta Humans and work on it’s development is back underway.
We begin with the light fixtures. These light fixtures are custom designed to wrap around the connection points at the top of the biomes. They are also 3D printed which makes the fixtures adaptable to fix future needs with the system.
The lights are connected with a clip that makes the connection very easy to make without any wire stripping or soldering.
The light fixture once all of the connectors are attached to the main power wire and fitted inside the fixture.
We then snap fit the light fixture cover and began to plug in the light bulbs. These bulbs are LED and run off 12 volts.
We completed 3 fixtures and installed these light overtop of the lake biome. There are two other biomes to complete lights for and so the lakeshore biome and the grassland biome will be next!
